First and fifth grade students at Talbott Elementary participated in a "buddy math" activity. Both classes were preparing for upcoming subtraction lessons. They played a math mat game that had them using die to determine the addends. Students wrote the addition problem. They then subtracted an addend from the total to show the relationship between addition and subtraction. They had so much fun!
